For the Love of God tone

I strongly recommend that you purchase Moke's presets. They are unequivocally the best Vai presets I have ever heard. I have been playing guitar for over 50 years (that doesn't necessarily mean shit but it does mean that I know bullshit when I hear it!) and Mr. Moke's presets are flat out amazing. I purchased his JCM 800 preset and after literally playing all night, my wife had to almost handcuff me to get me to bed (OK that sounds a little like a porno film so forget that descriptor). You know when you download most presets and they initially sound good but something is missing. They either lack sustain, will not allow you to play with an external distortion because of excess noise, etc., flub out on certain areas of the neck? Not so with Mr. Moke's presets. They are beautiful in detail and have all the nuances covered. The sustain is marvelous and will bring a smile to your face. He is offering these delicious presets for 10 bucks a piece - 10 bucks for his unbelievable work. I have spent hundreds of dollars on this Forum purchasing various presets and "one of a kind custom tones." I purchased one Vai patch for over one hundred dollars! None of them can touch Mr. Moke's work. I do not know him nor represent him. However, my fear is that he will pack his shit up and go away if patrons do not help his growth and that will be very depressing for me. I intend to buy all of his work if possible. He is simply that good. So...if you want Vai's tone, go to his store and you will have it. Now here is the caveat (which Mr. Moke also states): You must have a flat response style setup (e.g. Matrix unit with those flat range speakers; studio monitors). I play an Ibanez Jem through Mackie studio monitors. There is also an Apogee Symphony involved. I don't now what the patches will sound like if you are running the Fractal through a Marshall or Diezel head and cabinet. But...if you follow the directions, Nirvana awaits (not the preset though...he does have a Bush one, however).
