He's ordering a 2nd one and has come up with a whole new way to simulate his on-stage rig for practicing and tweaking.

Dude has access to the best gear on the planet, and I'd guess he can get most of it for free. What's he do? Orders a second Axe-FX. Ponder that...

I'm a fan of PT. Why? Because he's not a show-off. He's a working musician, very musical, great skills, and still a gearhead that makes an effort to keep in touch with other players. Plus: he's rock'n'roll in heart and bones.

I freakin' LOVE Pete Thorn. Excellent player. Really cool taste in music. Fabulous ear for tone. He also seems like a really nice guy. Anyway, it feels nice to know that he likes the gear that you've invested in enough to buy it, himself, as Scott just pointed out. ...correction: to buy a SECOND one.
