since you askedNot trying to be a wise ass here, but has anyone that's had "no sound" issues actually re-installed the 9.02 firmware and DC's? Are they still getting no sound issues?
I only ask because both of my FM9's had been flawless for 4-5 gigs so far plus practices. I also may have just jinxed myself....
I don't think this is a new issue...Since there will probably be an update soon for the occasional no sound issue at boot, I'm reporting another issue I found after the 9.02 update.
FC Controllers/Onboard Switches - If you reduce Bank Size to 1 in Config and then increase it back to 5, all the preset names for all the footswitches will be the same, and there's no way to get it back until you reboot.

Not sure if this is even on topic or will help, but I discovered that my USB cable connection on the side of my Temple Audio input was originally loose and prevented FM9-Edit from connecting directly to my FM9. I don't know how this was discovered, other than I reseated the USB jack firmly with the cable located on the side port. Since then, no issues. The reason the USB cable loosened up inside the port was because I'd brought my FM9 to a friend's for a jam session, and putting the Duo 24 back into position at home required a more solid connection.no sound issue again

Did you install any beta versions? If this is on going, I would do a full backup, a complete factory reset of the unit, RANF, reinstall latest FW, DCs, USB, new presets, RANF again.since you asked
reinstalled 9.02 but
did not reinstall dynacabs
Had them since 9.0 beta 2 just reinstalled 9.02 dynacabs presets and usb will see how it goes
intermittent issue
cant isolate the trigger very frustrating
but now feel obligated to post results
Unit hasnt moved since 9.02 but will buy a new cable if problem persistsNot sure if this is even on topic or will help, but I discovered that my USB cable connection on the side of my Temple Audio input was originally loose and prevented FM9-Edit from connecting directly to my FM9. I had this happen once, I toggled the input block on and off in Fm9 Edit and it never happened again.@Admin M@
In the last week I've had 3 separate boots with no sound. FM9 Edit was connected, and worked fine. I am using the xlr outs to my interface. The input led's showed input, but no sound.
Each time a reboot solved the issue.
Quite a few people have now reported similar issues, I just wanted to make sure you're aware. Thanks.

Roodboy this question might not be relevant, but what percentage does your CPU show when you get no sound?I give up
happened again after unit wiped clean and reintalled everything fw dc , usb, presets
Roodboy this question might not be relevant, but what percentage does your CPU show when you get no sound?
Could you go to an empty preset, and just make a simple amp and cab set to see if you get some sound?
I will give it a shot but it has happened in factory presets as well as my own which are monkey simpleRoodboy this question might not be relevant, but what percentage does your CPU show when you get no sound?
