FM3 stopped connecting to Mac

The device is well controlled through the FM3 editor using the usb - midi adapter Roland um - one

I got the Um- One mk2 and it hooks up fine and makes the connections but it's super slow. Over a minute to change a preset. This can't be normal.

In the fm3 editor settings go
settings-preference-refresh rate , change from fast to slow. Much better and faster

I had trouble with the FM3 USB port taking increasingly longer to connect - I sprayed some SERVISOL electrical cleaner onto the FM3 end of the USB cable and it has been fine ever since. Hope your fix is just as easy. PS Servisol is great for quieting noisy guitar volume pots etc.

Wow, I thought this was a joke, especially with the smiley face, but damn if it didn't work! Much thanks dear sir. Changes now take seconds instead of minutes.
