FM3 Now Shipping

Hi all, sorry I was quite busy at work and didn't have time to check the posts.
My original signed up date was June 23, 2019.

I received my initial invite on July 31, 2020, but it was out of stock. I had to email them about notifying me when it is back in stock.

I received my second email stating that they are back in stock on Aug 4th, 2020.

I ordered it on Aug 4th, 2020. Although I took more than 13 mins between receiving email and ordering, I was still able to order.

Good luck and Rock on guys!
Thanks my dude! Just wanted to see where we are on the waitlist. July 31st it is. I hope you get it soon and enjoy the hell out of it!

...I had a couple of Line 6 amps back in the day, and they were pretty good. I feel like they've gotten worse over the years...

I can’t speak for the amps much, I only had one and it was so-so. I got a Helix Floor when they first were released, and wasn’t overly impressed, sold it, bought an AX8, sold it, went back to my amps and made a medium and small pedalboard to mess with. Then the virus hit, bought a HX Stomp, which has an impressive sound, it’s just very limited with how Line 6 implements the footswitches, then gave that to my son-in-law and bought another Helix Floor, which sound much better than when they first came out.

I think each of the modeling companies have improved as they’ve debugged and tightened their code. If they do two releases of their firmware a year at 4 or 6x what a regular amp company does with their amps, it seems sensible we’re going to get better sounding units. It’s easier and more productive for the company to tweak and debug code, because it can be easily distributed to the users and bring them to the lastest revision. Imagine Fender trying that when they change a capacitor value.

Shoot, we’re cranking now. I’ll need to sell some stuff ASAP in order to have a prayer of buying one! (My date is 8/1/2019).
