FM3 Now Shipping

First time poster have been reading the forums since I signed up for the FM3 back on 6/25/19 and have as all others been waiting patiently! I'm very hopeful that this marathon is coming to a close and as a new user to any Fractal product at all I am unbelievably curious to experience the difference between Fractal and others such as the Boss GT series. I have always considered the Fractal products as the premier brand and can't wait to plug it in and let loose!!!
 
I honestly can't see it happening. We've been stalled for almost a week now. They're only about 7 days into the 'regular' waitlist. I'm late July 2019 and don't see that happening until September at least.
 
Wow I'm a big dumb idiot. I joined the FB group a while back and when people said stuff like "I got on the list in March, got the email in May" I thought they meant of the same year. I wasn't in the loop enough to know that orders opened in 2019. I was expecting a two month wait. Didn't realize it til I emailed fractal thinking something was wrong and they set me straight. They told me they plan on clearing the waitlist by the end of the summer, but I'm highly sceptical if people who got on in 2019 are still waiting. I don't think I can make it.

Yeah, I see that now. I was wondering why people were paying 500 bucks to skip a two month wait 😂🤦
I guess there's no harm in staying on the list but who knows what could come out in the next year with that money burning a hole in my pocket.
 
Let's say, hypothetically, you saved $100 every month since you joined the waitlist. Let's say I signed up June 2019. I would be at $1300 now. And it's still growing. $1400 next month. Almost makes you want to just get the ones on Reverb.

Not the best way of budgeting, but as someone who has a "Guitar Equipment" budget with $1000+ waiting to get their invitation, it's certainly burning a hole. I'm ready to throw down money right now. YOU HEAR THAT FAS -- I HAVE YOUR MONEY RIGHT HERE BABY. GIMME MAH FM33333!

And not that the FM3 could be easily beat, but the longer they take, the more time there is for something better to come out.
I don't know how they're expecting to clear orders by the end of the summer if they're only on June of last year in June of this year.
 
I honestly think that people are over estimating the size of the waitlist, and under estimating Fractal’s ability to move units. They were able to move through a month in ~week (not entirely sure what the headphone jack situation was during that period,) and we’re talking about a month that is quite close to the start of the waitlist. I think we’re going to eventually see going through two or three months in a week once the list starts thinning more and the supply chains pick back up.

Exactly my thoughts. Perhaps there was a delay in the next batch of shipments? Or they needed one more week of preparation to mail off a ton of units. I totally think they can clear the waitlist in several weeks.

I'm trying not to underestimate them but I also don't want to overestimate them and pass up on other good gear cause I have my money set aside for something uncertain. If they have been shipping since February, and are currently shipping at the same speed orders came in, why would production speed suddenly increase 12x
