Thanks for letting us know this. Even though this is not the news I would have hoped for, it is nice to have some information that has been confirmed.
I am told that the next batch is arriving by next week at the latest. Why they went back ordered I would imagine is likely complicated, given the ongoing complexities of doing business with China.

Thanks, that's helpful. Despite being only really relevant for the US/Canada, I have used this positive indication to pass on the non-HP version and sit tight for the HP version. A difficult decision, and at AUD$2000+, not trivial. Anyway, no idea how long this will be, but will be awesome when it eventually gets here. In the meantime, what was it - oh yeah, play guitar! Cheers.
Did you get a confirmation for the HP version?
They are all HP versions since the 1st batch sold out

Thanks for that clarification, I did not know that. I was making reference to a direct sale to a North America customer (e.g. me).
I presume that is the case, but I am not managing the list.
I think they do not do it anymore as it costs to much time and led to too much speculations on time frames etc... And then questions like hey FAS did you forget my invite? Surely they want to provide everyone with a FM 3 who wants to buy one no matter when the day will come
