Ahh yes I see now. I misread the Axe3 post. Very cool they're all available for free! Definitely going to grab that Devin Townsend preset especially after his AMAZING Moth performance this weekend.

I'm interested in the update to the Factory Presets that Axe3 and FM9 got back in January.

I wonder if it is so. I bet you a donut there are way more FM3 users than FM9 (speculating, of course). Including Pros.
If I got it correctly from this forum, the FM3 can be harder to port the code sometimes. Some things even can't be ported at all, so you might need to re-do some things to make it work. With FM9 it's just easier, less things to worry about when porting changes.

I might be totally off on this, anyway. Mostly guessing!

And I bet there are more FM3 users, including pros, that don’t participate in the public beta testing, let alone this forum, and run older firmware and are completely content.

Am I looking forward to the new stuff? Of course. Am I content with what I have? Definitely. I can wait. My only gripe (and it's a small one), is that they've already updated the wiki, so my FM3 models are currently out of sync. I typically reference that a lot for things like Compressors that aren't super obvious what they are (I mean... a few of them are pretty obvious), but still. I've gone in there more than a few times looking for info, then found my FM3 was out of sync. I still managed to do what I needed to do with what was there, and admittedly it's a very small thing that probably only I would find irritating. haha

Anyway, here I sit... Happy shredding on my current firmware until the next comes out.

I bought a UA interface a couple of years ago. Had it for a day and returned it the next. Didn't play well with Windows.

FM3 firmware is coming soon I bet. I mean they just dropped axefx III, then FM9, then yesterday VP4 all within a month or so time... So obviously FM3 is coming too.

I'm new to my FM3 turbo mark II and haven't experienced any crash as of yet... is this something common?

This is why you are participating in the beta test. please make a bug report post with details of your crashes so the devs can help.

I'm not sure final releases vary much from the Beta's, running the latest beta's mind you its for the FM9, and its to me flawless
the Only thing Ive noticed is the High CPU usage for the new Comps, not sure if thats WAI though.
