FM3 Firmware Version 9.02 public beta (3)

I've had to go back to a stable version. All the presets I made with the beta are no longer working.

That’s a result of the older firmware not understanding how to use the new blocks and or parameters from presets that were created “in the future”, by a newer version of the firmware. The presets have an internal tag identifying what firmware version was used to create/edit them as a safety measure.

The firmware is designed to do that because Fractal doesn’t want the presets to be accidentally corrupted by the firmware version mismatch.

Restore your presets from backups made when you were running that older version of the firmware previously, and the firmware will let you use them. Or, when you reinstall the newer firmware and the firmware is newer than the version that created them, then the firmware will let them be used again.

Firmware can only work with older or the same version presets, not newer/higher version numbers of the code.
