Try the beta 8 with the amp model you were using. Or let me know which model it is and I can run it here.
Presets 005,102 default amps.
Last week, a few minutes into the show the volume went down by a few dB, and the sound man told me to work on my presets... that they should be consist with volume etc... but I only used a single scene.
This Sunday after maybe 10 minutes the volume went up by a few dB.
My sound man noticed that too, and then I understood that none of us did anything active for that to happen.

Tomorrow i will test it live again with b8

I'm not seeing an issue with either of those presets with b8. Post back how you make out tomorrow.

Preset 102 has 4 scenes with 6160 amps. Might be the issue with 102. Not sure on 005

All seems to work great here at my end. Just the two things we talked about @rglr (Comp std values and extremely slow fm3-edit when have multiple controllers). BTW the comp standard values have the same problem if you edit it on the unit as in fm3-edit 👍

Just noticed that scene /channel changes are indeed faster. This is massive for me. Thank you.
I believe this was already in beta 3 as per release notes.
  • New “Block Mixer” algorithm results in faster/quieter scene and channel changes.

But, there is a change in feel or response and its not as fast as the earlier firmwares (e.g. 5.01).
You won't be able to notice this if you just play slow blues but when you're playing shred or speed picking it is apparent. Tested this in all my presets and did the refresh thing.

You say beta 8 - I say RC is coming close.

It’s not slower, nothing was done that would increase latency. Probably the feel, speaker compression maybe. I haven’t seen anyone posting about it being slow. Haven’t noticed it myself. Plenty of fast players here.

I have now crwawled FAS amps, and previous problems what i possibly can find, and FM3 is working like charm. Once again, sound improvement with newest beta8 is huge with my setup. I mostly play with quite tight sounds with band, and high registry is waaayy better with FAS6160! Also low-end is easier to get in control.

I work closely in software development in my job, and i can say that FAS-dev is fast as hell. Unifying versions with other Fractal products is wise and good step in roadmap.

Thank you FAS-team!

Good morning all,

yesterday I posted a message about my refresh problems.

I found where the problem comes from. it's I'm in a preset that uses 80% of the processor or just a little more.

it takes time but it does the midification but the preset management tool it does not take. even after restarting the next day.
