Can this be added during the first year of ownership if you are the original owner and received the unit directly from FAS ?

Thanks, I did not see that page. I just bought 3 years coverage ....how does it get associated to your s/n though ?
it never asked for that information........

I think that they tie the warranty to your name/address/email. They may have the serial number on file for you when you originally purchased it, but I don’t know for sure. Someone more in the loop will have to confirm that... though you could probably send them an email to find out for sure.
