FM3 CPU Question

Yes. That adds up to about 40% on my FM3 running the latest FW6 beta, YMMV depending on the particular effects / amp / cabs etc. you choose.

Plenty of CPU left to add more effects and go wild if you so choose.

Agree. You could safely add a normal level reverb, and or phaser/flanger to that too.
You could also do a cab blend, one of my favorite features in fractal land is blending two cabs.

I'm not sure why you're surprised, the FM3 is a little beast.

Here's what the factory preset "Mark's Day's Recto FM3" preset has in it:
It's not as visually impressive as layouts people can build on the FM9 or FX3, because they have more CPU and additional Feedback blocks, but when you hear the sound it puts out you'll be impressed.

Reverb at ultra-high quality settings is really the only thing that hammers the CPU hard.

What a true issue, because I really enjoy the diference between the normal and the ultrahigh reverb, how it sounds and how it feels; it's a problem to get back to a lower quality when you tasted ultrahight reverb. If I could ask for a improvement on top, it would be that, no doubt.

Yes, I saw that a few days ago. I play only at home, good monitors and good headphones. I can tell te diference that way; it's the only way I tried..., at sound and feelling.
Out of jokes, so the magnificient level of the amps and the cabs, the next best improvement I'd ask would be about reverb block use CPU.
