Floor monitor for AX8

I use one of these for my AX8 and it is just what I was looking for. Plenty of power, quick setup and easy. And pretty cheap.

$199 is damn cheap!
I must admit, I was surprised when I put my Alto TS112A up against my CLR that at a low volume they sounded similar.
However, I have had the Alto power amp go out on me and at louder volumes it sounds significantly worse so I always use my CLR at gigs.

I use an Alto 110 that was about the same price. Very light, as light as a boom box and plenty loud. Similar to what you posted.

Yeh, it’s great how well the AX8 translates to these lower end or should I say lower priced monitors.

I'm sure there is a difference with an Amplifire CLR but I suspect that Alto is 90% of the quality and 15% of the price. If I was a touring pro I' own a CLR or a Gemini....but I'm not. I'm happh for now.
