You think it needs wolume to shine and that it easily overloads?

No

The patch was designed for gigging and should be played loud. When you create patches -- you should keep in mind the volume you intend to play them at. It makes a difference.

For example, a patch you have dialed in for home/bedroom play typically will not sound as good when you crank it in a gig setting (reverb might be off, patch might sound like it has too much treble etc etc etc etc).

It has been my experience that patches should be designed for vol you intend to play it at.
