Fender FR-12 preamp mod : The Hissterectomy

Then they inform us that it will be going on sale on Reverb and we have to kick ourselves in the butt to grab them before the general public, right? Or do they reserve them for us in the store?

You will know ahead of time when the listing will go live. But once it goes live, anyone can purchase them that finds the listing.

I am trying to give an advantage to anyone from the waitlist to be first in line.. but as soon as word gets out.... She Gone!

(for just a month) then ...She Back!

Here is a graphic to help visualize the situation. 🤣

Im going to be dropping large batches every 4 or so weeks.
Hopefully a big one about Black Friday, and a huge one around Christmas.
Then every month until the V3 sails slowly off into the sunset. in a few years... or a few days.

There are so many folks waiting for one (or two) it is seriously humbling.

Thank you again, and know that you have many very grateful fans.

The V3 manual is still a work in progress and needs a few updated pics. But here is the link.

Hors d'oeuvres are served!! Well played, brother, my appetite for the main course is off the charts! Excellent manual and I really appreciate all the deets provided as well as how the same stock knobs and format are utilized to provide so much more control and range. The comparison charts showing the freq resp and phase between stock and V3 tell nearly the entire story, just a superb job and I can't WAIT to get a pair of these into my cabs STAT!!! 🤘

For those of us who may never take it out of our houses, is there a way to keep the stock ground lift plunger functional and the way it is stock without using the clipping led?

Absolutely. The clip LED is included, but optional.

The ground lift only affects the stock FR line out xlr jack. If you use that to send line out, the ground lift may be important to you. Most folks that I interact with do not use the xlr out.

You may also drill a hole and mount the LED elsewhere. I wanted the V3 to mount with existing holes and stock wiring. But if you don't mind another hole .. go for it 😎
