I think we got that part - what FC layout changes do you want to make with MIDI - there might be other / better ways to do it. I do think that was the point elvis was making.

At the moment i am switching between layout ,3,4 using pdl3 . I have a midi controller wich i use to swtich scenes . It still has unused switches , It would clean up my setup if could loose the pedal pluged to pdl3.
