FC-12 8 Scenes and 4 IA Switches

Currently I have set the FC12 up as Factory Default Layout 2: Scenes

Switch S1 = Scene 1
Switch S2 = Scene 2
Switch S3 = Scene 3
Switch S4 = Scene 4
Switch S5 = Phaser On/Off
Switch S6 = Flanger On/Off
Switch S7 = Chorus On/Off Hold Switches A/C
Switch S8 = Delay On/Off Hold Switches A/C

Every once in a while, I want to use more than 4 SCENES but also want the Instant Access Switches S5-S8 to work.

I have been playing around with setting:

S1 to switch between Scene 1 and Scene 5
S2 to switch between Scene 2 and Scene 6
S3 to switch between Scene 3 and Scene 7
S4 to switch between Scene 4 and Scene 8

It works, but if I want to switch from Scene 1 to Scene 8, I have to tap S4 then Press and hold S4 again to switch to Scene 8.

Is there a better way to set up the FC-12 to have 8 SCENES and have Switches S5-S8 be Instant Access Switches as well?

Ok.

So Chris is suggesting you put scenes on switches 1-8 using tap function, and then assign the I/A to the hold function.

In some cases you are already doing that but you have plenty of free hold functions.
