Faux Stereo for Mono signal

My main gig has me wearing in ears now but the engineer is only able to give us mono mixes until we can upgrade gear.

I set my outputs to Sum L/R now. I should also mention I’m running my CPU high because I’m on “normal” reverb and “hi res” cabs. I can lower this if it’s something else will help.

I watched a video on offsetting some delay parameter I’ll explore. Anything else though?
Like a pitch block or enhancer? I don’t want 80’s tones, just a wider sound.

You cant get an ambient sound with mono headphones, because your ears are always getting the same with mono! stereo/ ambient is the fact that your ears get two different signals!

Wide sound comes from a stereo mix. Mono is the same thing on both sides so it can’t be wider than “the same thing.”
