Faux Pedal Steel

I used to get some decent pedal steel licks from using the Harmony bend feature of my digitech whammy pedal. Basically, with the pedal down you get one harmony interval and with the pedal up you get another. You can alternate between the two to simulate a pedal steel (or at least I think it was close - sorry to any real pedal steel players).

Is this possible on the axe with a pitch block? Can you morph between intervals in the same block with an exp pedal or would I need a section pitch block to bend between?

Advanced whammy mode can do the 1-note harmony stuff. A second pitch block and/or other modes (fixed/intel. harm.) might be of use at times if you want to get more notes at once.
