Factory Presets Updated during Firmware Updates?

In the owner's manual, it speaks of the factory presets being stored in a separate location and able to be restored from there at any time. One question then, are the factory presets ever updated? If so how? Is this done automatically during a firmware update or during the download and installation of updated factory presets? If not, then we only have the factory presets from the firmware when our unit was shipped?

My thanks!

Does this load the factory presets into the "user" memory banks for lack of a better word? Or does this load them into the special private memory area that always stores the backup copies that can be restored? I was speaking of the bank/preset information that is stored within a separate memory space than the normal user bank space (which also contains the factory presets).

From the User Manual talking specifically about the information stored into the special ROM register.

RESTORE FACTORY BANK A,B, or C reads from a separate different ROM memory which always contains a
fresh copy of the factory preset banks regardless of what changes you save to the preset memories or
backup ROM. These otherwise operate the same as RESTORE USER BANKS, above.

The process outlined in the video appears to update the presets in the current memory user blocks (which could include your own custom presets). The special ROM area appears to be a distinct "safe" copy of presets to be restored.
