External Effects and Audio Routing

Hi there all,

Just got my new AX8. I'm trying to figure it out but it's doing my head in a bit.
I'd like to set it up so that:
-I've got an XLR out to my audio interface using cab sim (to record with)
-I've got another mono TS out to my power amp which goes to my cabs but without the cab sim (for bedroom jamming)
-I'd also like to be able to run an external effects unit into the AX8 (namely the Line 6 HX Effects)

How can all this be done together? Any help would be awesome!

1. XLR to DAW = Out 1 to DAW
2. Mono TS to power amp = Out 2 to power amp
3. External effects into AX8 = connect to FX RTN
