Expression Pedal question

When using an exp pedal with the MFC101 does the exp pedal count as an instant access switch.
In other words with the EP attached do you have to dedicate an IA switch to it or not....looking to setup something for a wah primarily
 
hopefully this is correct....the exp itself doesnt have an IA switch but the wah bypass can be set to on the dedicated switches or an external switch....Yeks MFC-101 How-Tos page - Fractal Audio Systems Wiki

that should cover on how to set the wah to a dedicated IA


whats really cool if you dont have an expression yet is this.
The mission pedals

the top one here for instance has a footswitch has two outputs...one for the external switch and one for the expression pedal if that helps any. you can set the external to be the bypass so a full toe down and "click" your wah is on
