I know there are all the different 5150 amps but this would still be nice to have to put in front of some of the different amps other 5150's.
 
Exactly. Other people call their pedals "amp in a box"; we can actually put an amp in the box and use it as a pedal. Fantastic.
Having played both in the real world, the pedal is a step down from the amp. I'd never use even if it was there.

As a long time 5150/EVH fan I'll add the new EVH stealth is fantastic and very hot. I don't boost it at all, with anything. I know some people love the feel of a boosted amp, that is its own thing regardless of the amp, cool do what works for you - but the Stealth and its three channels don't need anything to get there tone wise.
 
This is the best metal stomp that I owned before ending playing with the dist the amps . I have tried tons of dist pedals and this one was the more natural and amp sounding .
