Escape From New York // Main theme (cover)

Hey guys!
Had some fun trying to recreate the main theme from John Carpenter's Escape From New York (1981), one of my all time favorite action movies!
I've used a super simple patch with the 5150 block + clean boost (guitars are coming in at 1:54), played with a 7 string!
As for synths, I've used the OP-X PRO II by SonicProjects, ANA2 by Sonic Academy/Slate Digital , Spectrasonics Omnisphere. Drums are different samples from LinnDrum, Roland TR707 and Yamaha RX21 modules.

It quickly became my favorite synth vst! One of the few that really gets very close to the warmth and depth of its analog counterparts! Thanks man!

Carpenter just released an EP I believe as well. I need to dig that up. His scoring/soundtrack work has always been great.

I'll probably have to do a Kurt Russell marathon this weekend. At a minimum, Escape from NY, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, Tombstone. Then I'll see what else I have time for.
