I've updated my MFC plenty of times. This is the first time that i've ever had an error message.
Connected via MIDI OUT on MFC and MIDI IN on Axe fx 2
MCF powered via phantom power via adaptor and 7 pin midi
MFC functioning normally and changing presets etc.
Using Fractal Bot 1.1
Axe FX 2 MIDI with SEND REALTIME SYSEX to NONE
USB ADAPTER MODE to ON
Tried with and without Axe Edit open
Power cycled and Firmware Update mode protocol tried multiple times
Re downloaded MFC firmware in case of bad disk image/file etc.
Followed on screen instructions to the letter.
Thoughts, anyone?
Now SOLVED.
It was MIDI THRU being set to ON that was the problem
