Ernie Ball Cobalts...anyone else try them yet?

Hated the Cobalts. Too much output making my guitars sound distorted.

What guitvai1 said ... all my guitars sounded like they were going through a megaphone and I never really got used to their feel.

Yeah, the good old EB .10's are nice and broken in and the guitar just plays and feels great. The Cobalts were extremely harsh in comparison and all the little nitpicky stuff that I wasn't digging about the pickups in this guitar went right away and I love the pickups now. What a frickin' great guitar.

Just replaced a set of cobalts today that I tried out on my strat for the past few weeks.... man it sure feels / sounds good to be back to good old nickel strings ( DR pure blues) . I really did not like the cobalts at all in the way of feel or sound for my rig.
