Epi LP7 and 5150 FW11

I replaced my Epi LP7 pickups with a DiMarzio Crunch Lab/Liquifire combo. Wrote a little lick and recorded it w/ the 5150 and Rect 1 cab, adding just a touch of Roland Dimension D post, 'cause I like it. I'm pretty happy w/ it, but would like feedback, especially on fizz, eq, etc. Thanks, Shep

Very cool tone IMO. Reminds me of C.O.C. and the rocktron piranha. That fizz you speak of is a great starting point for stuff like zz top (lower gain of course).
And I like the doubling you are getting from the Dim D, but couldnt you do the same thing with a chorus/detune or a delay/detune?

Thanks for the feedback, Funeral. The clip is double tracked, I'm just partial to the Dim D tone and the way it's unobtrusive when lightly blended in (i.e. subtle enough to wonder if it's there, but when you turn it off you miss it).
