Wish Enter numbers by keyboard in the controller pop-up in Axe edit

When I go to assign IE external controller 1 to the mix value of a delay, I would much prefer to be able to click the value field and type in 20 (%) rather than having to turn the dial on my trackpad or mouse from 100 all the way back to 20 in several turns. Jumping to the next value field by hitting the tab key would be icing on the cake

I think you are referring to the MIN and MAX values in the modifier screen.
It is not possible to enter these using the keyboard due to limitations on how the software and hardware interact.

One thing that may help you is the modifier keys.
Hold Command/Ctrl while using the mouse (or arrow keys!) for precision mode.

1. ENTER/RETURN
2. Numeric Entry
3. ENTER/RETURN
4. TAB TO NEXT
5. GOTO 1

Yes, you are right, I was refering to the Min and Max value in the modifier. Thanks for the clarification and the tips

Yup. That reminds me of a 3-liner I would occasionally leave running on one of the math lab computers:
