    Will the energy ball produce the sounds of a Powerball 2 especially with the mid-range problem the Powerball one had?

    Yes, it does a great job recreating the ENGL Powerball II sound. I used to own one so I was able to compare directly. Moreover, the Axe has the ENGL Savage, which is BY FAR better sounding and easier to dial in.
