If this is a dynamics test, the tone shouldn't matter anyway. If we're judging dynamics, I can't tell a difference. They both sound as if the dynamics of the playing are the same, but this is probably easier to judge by playing, not listening.

Right, that's exactly why I'm asking the question of what this is supposed to be exactly? If it's more of a "feel" thing, then we won't really know until we can experience it ourselves.
