DUMBLE ODS CLEAN - love the cleans - how to break the tone up???

i love the cleans i get...pretty fenderic but for my taste better than twin or bassman. but i have a problem getting light break up tones.

if i higher input or master it gets compressed and i loose alot of the nice clean tone i like...if i put a drive block with smth like tube drive or zen drive, again it sucks smth away from the cleans...

i use the second amp block for lead tone (dumble ods 3) so even if would it works i cant use lead mode of dumble with low input for this purpose....and i dont use amp x/y.

i play with seymour duncan jeff beck humbuckers...

Have you tried the FET model in the drive block to keep the tone but put a little 'hair' on it?

What cab IR are you using? The '4x12 Rumble EV12L Mix' woks well as does the '2x12 Class-A 30w Silver Mix' with the ODS clean.
