Duane Eddy dead at 86

I see both Ritchie Blackmore and Jimmy Page have posted glowing tributes to Duane...two giants paying homage was nice to see.

He was hugely influential to both those guys and a formative part of "rock guitar" for sure....

Thanks for the music and inspiring all those young, budding rockers Mr. Eddy...without you it's possible there may have been no "Burn" or "Achillies Last Stand"....respect...!
 
He will be missed.

I made a cover of his song Rebel Rouser a while a go. Using the Fractal Axe fx2 xl+ with my Gretsch 6120 Horton heat signature.
At 2.10 min I put a Cliff Gallup style solo in the song.
A great tribute to the king of twang.
