Drone Effect Using FC-6 or FC-12

Hey Matt, quick question for you. When I was at the Vai Academy, you showed me on the FC-12 how you can create a drone that plays forever and then I can solo over that drone. In other words, you had me play a chord, step on a foot switch which captured the chord (aka drone sound) and then I played a patch that solo'd over it. Sounded very Gilmour-ish. Do you know what I am referring to? I can't seem to remember what you did and I would like to reproduce that with my Axe FX III and FC-6.

By the way, which is coming first? My FM3 invite or the COVID vaccine?
