I have a patch somewhere I used during testing that was using 3 paths. I had a guitar that had a piezo bridge that supported Roland GK processing so I had In 1 from the regular electric, In 2 from the piezo output, and In 3 from the synth unit. I don't have the guitar anymore - though I'm looking to replace it with something similar.

I’d hope so! I use my FM3 for 3 independent paths for a 3 pickup guitar (piezo, magnetic, octave-down).

You can even run your old Roland sequencer thru one of those signal paths.
