Do I need to enable the Headphones output in some way

I've had my Axe for 5 months but never tried the headphone jack. I picked up a pair of Grado SR80 headphones but I am getting ZERO sound out of them, even if output level 1 is maxed.

Do I need to do any type of configuration to make the headphone jack work, or do I have a problem with my Axe? I'm guessing that these headphone should work as others seem to be happy with them.

assuming the headphones work out of an ipod or computer?

headphone out is tied to Out 1, no configuration needed except turn up the Out 1 knob. are you using an adaptor to get it from 1/8" to 1/4"? does that work properly?

Everything seems to work if I plug the phones into the board, but nothing through the Axe. The phones do use an adapter, so I'll try replacing that before I call support. Thanks.

Do you use a TRS type connector/adapter or the TRRS connector common for apple products?
TRRS might be incompatible with the Axe.
