Direct comparison between an EMG 707 and BKP Aftermath

I got a new Carvin 7-string yesterday loaded with Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups so I decided to compare them with my other guitar's pickups

EMG is played with an Agile Interceptor Pro and BKP with a Carvin DC727


First half is the EMG and second half the BKP, recorded through my Axe II. No bass and hardly mixed xD

Well, it's also a comparison between the guitars too but I'd argue the electronics have a much larger affect on tone than the other subtle differences between both guitars
 
I'm not sure of that : I have 2 guitars both with emg 81s in... Both same wood : alder.
But they sound radically different !
 
So its more a caparison between the two guitars since I assume they have very different specs.

The Carvin sounds more 3D, thats one of the traits of bareknuckles that I always like and it helps them cut through the mix. The distortion is a bit grittier/brighter too. The Agile sounds really good too, it sounds tighter than the Carvin but without the 3D sound it doesn't pop out in the mix as present as the Carvin does.
