Delay X/Y: Y has no effect

Howdy,

I'm running a stereo BBD as Delay X, and want to add an alternate delay in Y slot. But when I switch to Y, I can't get any effect (no matter what type I choose). Is this a limitation when using a stereo delay in X? Am I missing something obvious?
