I currently use two delay blocks. Both are setup with expression pedal to control the MIX and FEEDBACK, but one block has the delay time controlled by expression pedal, and the other block is tap tempo.
I could swear that the old FX8 could do this by default, I had expression but seem to remember that the tap tempo would sort of "take over" if I started tapping it. And when I waned expression control again, I could just move the expression pedal again. It's been years, so I can't remember, so maybe I'm hallucinating, lol.
Is there a way to use ONE delay block where delay time follows the last controller I touch - whether that be expression pedal or tap tempo switch?
