Hey guys. Long story short, I want to create a sound where a single staccato note is played through a delay with 1/8th note repeats. Additionally, and this is the important bit, I want modulation to warble the pitch of those 8th notes...also in 8th notes.
I have the mod set in 1/8 notes, but I think because the tempo of the repeats is set also to 1/8 notes I'm getting phase cancellations somewhere. I have the mod depth knob maxed yet I'm getting hardly any modulation at all. It comes back if I nudge the two tempos out of alignment slightly. That's fine, but the modulation seems to slow down with every cycle. It seems like the width between the pitch of the modulated up and down notes increases over time slowing down the 8th note feel. That makes it pretty hard to play with.
I've got a recording session in the morning. Can anyone help me out with this?
