Dave Mustaine performs live w/ Metallica...

For all you fellow metal heads. This is a pretty decent quality live video. I thought the performance was better than anything I've seen from Metallica in 10+ years.

I saw a clip of some of this and Mustaine was playing mostly rhythm, but some other dude was taking all the solo's... who dat? It wasn't Kirk (that I could tell at least)....

The video I saw showed Mustaine doing all the solos.

I think I saw them do Hit the Lights, Mustaine on rhythm, Hammet on rhythm, and some dude playing Les Paul type guitar doing all the solos....

That "other dude" was Lloyd Grant, who is credited with a guitar solo on the very first demo of Hit the Lights for the Metal Massacre compilation.

I was just reading Mustaine's biography and he claimed that both he and Lloyd played some solos on the original Hit The Lights.

But in other places I've read that the demo was recorded before they even met Mustaine.

I guess "looking back it's still a bit fuzzy".
