Read the edit to the 2x12 post, I thought of that after the initial post.
And by the way... a half stack or full stack is pretty bad ass. The JVM is designed to drive from the pre amp not the power amp. The power amp is designed not to distort at high volumes so it is an amp that can sound good at reasonable volumes.
