Installed a 3 way and a Dimarzio Chopper in neck, as he wants to use live and this is a must for him. This is cheap version and he painted headstock(really hate that and I do not think looks good at all!). BTW the guitar comes with a real single coil with the leads tucked away. He wanted a bolder sound, so chose the Chopper(a used of mine and what was available mainly). I wanted to install a Dimarzio 3 way switch, but he did not want to spend $37 for that(those use to be $25 just a few years ago!). Just opted for a cheapo generic Les Paul switch.

Fun guitar, but I would buy naked parts from Warmoth and build. FR is East Asian junk and need a German one. PUP is nothing special.

Agreed. I had bought 3 of these style in red for my own guitar and ended up swapping out the bridge for a full sized humbucker. This just works. Have middle position wired out of phase so it has 3 distinct sounds.
