Custom Tones Ethos into the AX8

IMHO literally no need. This from a guy who has gigged for years with the Ethos/Amp to a 1x12, 1x10, and direct to PA, and just switched to the AX8, and owned the AxeFx at least twice about six years ago.

Sure, it will sound great, but the FAS stuff has the exact models the Ethos is trying to cop.
 
I have the same Ethos Overdrive Preamp shown in the video you showed (except mine has all four available options).........BUT I'm using it with the FX8 and it's a perfect match. I'm inclined to agree however with the poster above, I doubt the Ethos will be needed with the AX8.
 
Ah ok then,
So i'm thinking now for smaller / less to carry gigs i have i'll use the Ethos into my BOSE L1 Model II , and add a little delay at the desk, then for others gigs i'll put the AX8 either into the Dumble 1x12 via the bludo loop , or into the QSC K10 .
