Crunch parameter

ive searched the wiki and the manual to no avail. Can someone share some info about this parameter?

I've only found that it was added in firmware 18.
I haven't messed with it much.

Ok, read through that entire thread and there is still no mention of what it actually does. Only that it has something to do with the last two triode stages. Based on the name it seems intuitive but I'd be nice to have an actual description.

[Speculum Speculorum]

I know it has to do with preamp breakup. Just crank it up and it becomes very audibly apparent what it's doing. I do like a bit of it here ava there. Combined with speaker drive and motor drive it add a bitof that oomph I like to hear in high gain stuff.
