Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if it's possible to use plugins in a DAW to affect the mic signal before sending it back out the the AxeFX to be captured as an IR. The signal chain would stay the same, but instead of using direct monitoring to send the mic signal to input 2, I'd send the processed DAW signal to input 2. Will any latency impact the sound, for example the AFX thinking it's hearing 2khz when it's hearing 1khz because of latency, or will it not affect the tone. I'm asking because I'm using a Slate Digital ML-2 mic, and I'd like to select different mic models while capturing the IR, rather than simply using the raw flat response.
