I didn't get your point... I've never used Cablab 2. What's the difference between CabLab 2 and 3? With 2 you can create SYX files that still works with axe-o-matic in order to create wave files?

Yes I think so. Cablab2 didn't get any updates, so its ultrares IRs are of the old version. When I export standard IRs with it, I can e.g. convert them for my Ultra using one of those old tools. I've done this several times. So I'm pretty sure I could also create wav files out of those IR files!
