Control complete output via ev-1

On my FM3, I have always controlled the output to the monitors using the small level 1 dial; here the guitar signal and, for example, a backing track were regulated equally. I have now connected an EV-1 to control both, but when I set it only the signal from the guitar is controlled, I still have to control the backing track using the small rotary pot. how can you set up that both are controlled together with the ev-1?
I would like the EV-1 to completely take over the function of the rotary knob.

yes, that's how I configured it... that's also how Cooper Carter showed it in a tutorial... but as I said, that only controls the volume of the guitar and not the audio signal that comes in via USB 1/2 at the same time
