Connecting the Mission SP-1 LED with MFC-101

Hi. I am seriously thinking of buying a Mission SP-1 with the LED option. I just have one question, that I hope you guys can answer:
When I connect the pedal, will it be okay to insert insert the one TRS-kabel to the "Expression pedals 1"-intput, and the other TRS-kabel (controlling the LED) to the "Switches 1+2"-input.

The problem is that I need 4 pedals all in all, so I would really like it, if I could use the "Switches 1+2" for the LED.

Can any one help me, please?

there is mod you'd need to do to the pedal. the switch (not the LED) needs a TRS cable/connection by default, something about the green wire?

i know the info is on the forum somewhere, from mission.
