Congrats to metallica and periphery

Weird that's Metallica's nomination was for Best Rock Song. Alongside David Bowie and Radiohead? Did they not get the memo: METAL-lica. Genres always blend a bit, but Hardwired is definitely closer to Periphery than it is to Radiohead. The Grammy's always makes some weird decisions.
 
Great - but - grammys are BS - same with rock hall of shame... great ideas - horrible execution.
Love both bands though - and they deserve much praise...
 
Metallica? They don't exist. That band died in a secret plane crash after the Black Album tour and some 3rd class tribute band has been impersonating ever since.
 
and Megadeth... and Keith Urban... and Meg Toohey... and quite a few others who play as sidemen/women for the pop stars on display.
 
If this Grammy nomination could bring Periphery to South America, then it's fantastic for me!
Also, if Kip Winger gets more public recognition so people would be aware of the outstanding musician he is, that's awesome news!

This could be a really interesting year for some artists that I like. It would be super cool seeing Big Wreck getting a Grammy nomination too, they do deserve it!
