I've always liked the guitar tones in Concrete Blonde songs. Does anyone have any presets, or have any information on the guitarist's rig?
 
You may have to build your own. James Mankey is an excellent guitarist, but they just never got a whole lot of recognition. I always liked the Concrete Blonde sound and had sort of forgotten them until your post.

Looks like he was partial to a Matchless DC-30 amp and liked Boss effects. I think he used a Strat most of the time, but I'm pretty sure he used some P90 equipped guitars as well.

Good luck with your search fellow Wolfgang strutter. We used to do a cover of "Joey" and got good results with the "Texas Lonestar Clean"
